Marlyn Pascual, I am a licensed nurse with over 18 years of experience in clinical care, healthcare administration, and nursing education. I currently serve as a Performance Nurse and Nursing Administrative Support at Sakina – SEHA Mental Health Services, where I focus on supporting leadership operations and improving service quality.

My responsibilities include managing mental health screening dashboards, monitoring referral processes, and ensuring follow-ups are completed. I support the implementation of the Pathway to Excellence program and assist in developing audit tools and data dashboards to enhance care quality and support decision-making across nursing departments.

In parallel, I am a part-time Lecturer, and First Aid and BLS Instructor, where I design and deliver training programs that empower healthcare workers and contribute to continuing medical education across the UAE and Filipino communities.

My passion for teaching began in the Philippines, where I worked as a Clinical and Academic Instructor. I guided nursing students during hospital rotations and classroom instruction, emphasizing patient care standards, infection control, and hands-on clinical skills.

Over the years, I have worked in various healthcare settings, including hospital units, wound care, and medical coordination. I also contributed to the UAE’s COVID-19 response as part of Aspen Medical, nurse navigator and team leader in the field hospital and helping manage nursing teams across multiple facilities.
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science (PhDNS) at St. Paul University, Philippines. I am passionate about data, education, and performance improvement, and I am committed to bridging frontline practice with strategic initiatives to advance nursing care and patient outcomes.
